Skipper/Helm
Without our team of Helms we can’t operate. You will be an important part of the team, ensuring the safety of your passengers is your number 1 priority. With a variety of trips within Cardiff Bay and out in the Bristol Channel, no two days or trips are the same. Driving one of our RIB’s with twin 225hp Mercury Seapro outboard engines, this is the ideal opportunity for the experienced skipper.
You will have:
- Advanced Powerboat Commercially Endorsed or higher
- PBL2 Commercially Endorsed
- Sea Survival, Fire fighting, First Aid, VHF/DSC
Desirable: Previous experience of running a similar craft

Sales/Crew
As a member of our Sales and Crew, you will be the an integral part of the team to ensure the smooth customer journey. From encouraging walk-on sales, booking trips and greeting customers upon arrival; to fitting lifejackets, assisting the Helm and offering guide information, you will be the front face of Bay Island Voyages.
You will have:
- Experience of dealing with members of the public
- Great organisational skills
- Ability to interact with public when Crewing trips.
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar environment
